Day 30 - An Apple a Day

I wanted to end this challenge with a big splash ;)

Day 29 - A Day at the Races

Traditional streetraces on the last day of the annual fair. They close Main Street, fill it with sand and have races all afternoon : one against one, like the H2H tourneys smiley-grin I was lucky to have some time between classes to shoot a little.

Day 28 - They Sell Horses, Don't They?

The highlight and oldest event of the annual Fair is selling horses in the central area of the village. We used to have cows, pigs, goats, rabbits and poultry as well but after several international breakouts of transmittable diseases they were all forbidden at open air markets. Nowadays most good and expensive horses are traded on the internet so we literally have leftovers at these traditional markets. There used to be 5 streets filled with animals, now we have parts of 2. The market stalls with cloths, flower(bulb)s, etc. have taken over the empty spaces.

Day 27 - The Mad TeaParty

Another zoomblur as it has been raining all day and the only thing I want now is sit down with a cup of tea.

Sunday 26 September 2010

Day 26 - Smoke in a Lightbeam

The show itself was boring but I did see some interesting effects in the lightbeams.

Saturday 25 September 2010

Day 25 - Dance to the Zumba

Mind you, this is not me ;) but I did take the class.

Friday 24 September 2010

Day 24 - A Ride in the FreeStyle

The annual fair has started, it will last until next wednesday. I learned a monopod is not stable enough for longer exposures but I thought my Gorilla would be to low so I left it at home.

Day 23 - Where peaceful waters flow

One of the two spots within 15 minutes from my home by bicycle where water actually flows from a slightly higher to a lower level. The "steps" are constructed to help the fish swim upstream. Other than that my region is fairly flat.

Day 22 - Tak Tak Boom Tak Tak

Dancing 4 seconds of Kopanitsa, late at night in the livingroom with the camera on my belly smiley-wink
Originally I had no clue what to shoot, tried to copy something I saw when browsing the net that looked so cool but it did not work at all for me so I decided to do something completely different.

Tuesday 21 September 2010

Day 21 - It's all in the Game

Gasterra Flames (aka Donar) against Kazan (Russia)
In fact Donar is the first dutch club ever in dutch basketball history to play in the qualifying round of the Euroleague. Nobody expected them to win but they kept fighting and ended 74 - 82. And I was there!

Sunday 19 September 2010

Day 19 - Let's Play Ball

to be more specific, this is korfbal - google is your friend smiley-wink

Saturday 18 September 2010

Day 18 - Fun with Feathers

turning into Frustration with Feathers as they choose not to fall where I want them.

Friday 17 September 2010

Day 17 - Some Ink from an Inkpot

I know I can do better than this but it was late and I had no clue what to shoot for today.

Thursday 16 September 2010

Day 16 - Time in a Bottle

Even though it's done with a macrolens, the sandflow is faint due to the subject being very small as well. But it is visible!

Wednesday 15 September 2010

Day 15 - Blowing in the Wind

I was actually looking for windsurfers on this windy day but they stayed to far away for a decent shot.

Day 14 - Raindrops keep falling

This was uploaded on time at smugmug and worth but delayed here due to fatigue ;)

One keychainled & 30 sec.
Inspired by Buffs neonsigns and more vibrant in full view ;)

Wednesday 8 September 2010

Day 08 - Grab a Grape

unfortunately not much time nor energy to experiment to the max so I might try something like this again some time this month

Tuesday 7 September 2010

Day 07 - Distort a Lighthouse

(a breeze moved the water of the lake, it was hard to choose between all the different distortions - the specs are in the water itself, not sensordust)

Monday 6 September 2010

Day 06 - Zooooomlens

1/8 sec - zooming in on a geranium on the gardentable.

Sunday 5 September 2010

Day 05 - Twirl that Girl

dancegroup Jászság Népi Együttes from Hungary

Saturday 4 September 2010

Friday 3 September 2010

Day 03 - Building a Tower

(in 15 seconds and my new toy, a NDfilter)

If you look close you can see the last one just being placed.

Thursday 2 September 2010

Day 02 - Throw a Shawl up in the Air

I had to climb on the garageroof to get enough sky plus do numerous tries as shawls are not wellbehaving models.

Wednesday 1 September 2010

Day 01 - Focus, Click & Rotate!

For those who feared to miss my bikes :D .
And who knows one or two bikes might pop up later in the month as well.
